The other morning on a boat ride to lake Sandoval, we saw this adolescent Pink-toed tarantula. It was sitting right above another passenger's head. So of course, I picked her up to hold for a while and let it run around my hands/arms. She was very soft and fuzzy! I read later that she can jump up to 30 centimeters.
