Today we visited the magnificent Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. This temple dates back to the 12th century and is in remarkable shape. The walls inside the temple have the most intricate stone carvings, depicting Hindu mythology.
What you can't see in this photo is how HOT it is. It was close to 40 degrees celsius today at the temple and not much shade... but the incredible sights are worth braving the sweltering heat.
